Skating twin peaks is a pretty insane experience surrounded by views and crazy fast hills it’s right in the middle of San Francisco it’s unlike any other scene. When Vans hit my friends max and Kyle and I up to make a skate video we were told that we’d have total creative freedom. It was important to us it took place here. This was our opportunity to show people where the fastest and the gnarliest skate it’s a place to find peace in our hectic lifestyle. It’s surreal when a brand like Vans hits you up to film a video because we wanted to go all out and give them the most, that’s why I got the switch heel-flip over the barrier I’ve been trying to get that for six months. Not a better shoe to do it in, in my mind than an old school . What an incredible opportunity it’s been and it’s clear to me Vans knows what skateboarding is about at the end of the day it’s about freedom of expression.
